Codex >> Bestiary >> Dragonkin

Recalling the dragons of myth, the dragonkin include a variety of giant reptiles.
Pyrosaur

Drakeling pyrosaur

This drakeling bears a familial resemblance to the trained drakelings used by some communities as dray animals and guards, but red scales and rippling waves of overheated air surrounding the creature betray its unusual and fiery nature. Natives of volcanoes, pyrosaurs shrug off even extreme heat, and can unleash gouts of flame from their mouths.
Wyvern hatchling

Dwarf wyvern

Dwarf wyverns have stunted wings insufficient for true flight, but retain the ferocity, beak, and long tail of their larger brethren.
Trained drakeling

Trained drakeling

Enterprising wilderkin sometimes capture young drakes and train them as pack animals and guards. The younger drakelings are not yet large enough to carry much, but are capable guards with a ferocious bite and acidic spittle.
Thrashel

Trained thrashling

It's rare enough to see a thrashling, with its triple macetails; all the more remarkable is to find a trained one, for they are both ornery and exceedingly dangerous.
Wyvern

Wyvern broodqueen

Not only much larger than the hatchlings you've encountered in the past, this wyvern also has fully-developed wings that allow it to glide upon the winds that swirl around these high peaks.
Wyvern hatchling

Wyvern hatchling

Wyverns are similar to drakeling and other drakes, but with a pair of wings in place of one set of legs. As hatchlings, their wings lack the development to support flight, but they are born with the voracious appetite, razor beak, and whiplash tail of their parent.
